3 Tips to Make The Most of Yourself Starting Today

I’m passionate about helping people manifest their lives with intention and creating the life of their dreams. It’s a slow and messy process, but I know anyone can do it!

The week the world shut down for the pandemic, I started the Manifesting Abundance Society group on Facebook. Over the past year and a half, we have worked to make the necessary changes to live the abundant life our heart desires.

Here are a few of my top three tips to make the most of yourself starting today:

LIVE WITH INTENTION

Write ONE intention for the day. If you’re not sure what this means, think of it like this.

How do I want to be and live at any given moment?

Making significant changes will often seem unrealistic and hard. You’ll probably fail at achieving the changes you plan over and over again. And you’ll wonder what’s the point.

This is where your intention comes in. It’s who you are regardless of the changes you do or don’t make.

As you navigate your day and continue to push yourself to do and be better, bring yourself back to the intention you set for yourself.

A great way to practice setting goals is to write your affirmations. Start with the words “I AM..” and imagine how to transition your dream into your reality.

“I am continuously succeeding and co-creating my own life, even when it hasn’t moved the way I imagined. I am open and receive it all. I believe everything I work for is coming to me now.”

SET GOALS

Now that you’ve set your intention and are clear as to who you are regardless of what you accomplish, now it’s time to make a plan to move forward.

Goal setting lives in the future. It’s the dream you’re passionate about accomplishing.

“If you have no destination, you’ll never get there.” -Harvey MacKay

You can’t get to where you’re going if you don’t know where that is. It’s important to begin to make a plan for your future accomplishments. If this is something unclear, scary, or unfamiliar to you, that’s ok! There’s no finish line you’re trying to race to. Take your time, but begin to think about what you’d like to do and write it down.

BE PRESENT IN THIS MOMENT

It’s easy to stay focused on the future and often forget to live in the current moment. If you’re not careful, you’ll spend your one moment wishing you were somewhere else down your timeline.

You’ll slip into a pattern of “I’ll be happy when…” [fill in the blank]

“I get the car, house, job.”

“Lose 20 pounds”

“Find the perfect spouse (or get rid of the one I have)”

Guess what? That day may never come. Today is all you have. Living abundantly starts with this moment — the perpetual now.

Balance your goals and intentions by being present in this moment. Practice being grateful, show your loved ones you love them, do something nice for yourself, and commit to 15-minutes of quiet time today and every day after.

As you practice these three tips, you’ll start discovering more about this infinite sea of abundance.

Like Wallace Wattle said, “The best thing you can do for the world is to make the most of yourself.” This is an exciting journey if you live it on purpose. We can do and be anything we want to do, and we have the source of life within us. Let’s not waste this life holding back and keeping ourselves small.

Let’s expand together. Let’s grow together.
