Chai with Charity #2: Three Little Words

I have a new Chai with Charity up. I must say this, even though this is one of the scariest and challenging things I’ve done, it’s also been one of the best personal growth things I’ve done. Matt and my sister have been behind the scenes helping me set-up, do my make-up, and showering me with love and advice on how talk and act natural on camera, because I tend to act like a surprised valley girl as soon as the camera starts rolling.

So, after many takes and tears, here’s Three Little Words. If you’ve been a Christian for any amount of time, you heard these words a million times, so much so, that they lose their meaning, but today I want to remind you that they’re not obligated or hollow words.

I love you, wounded doves! Thanks so much for taking the time to watch, and don’t forget to subscribe!

Love these Charity! So glad you are doing this for two reasons 1) love what you are sharing, 2) feels like we are actually sitting down to visit. 🙂

This is such a great reminder. It’s easy to forget and feel like God is obligated. I think my oldest feels that way sometimes towards me. He will say things like you don’t like me. And I always remind Nathan that no matter what he does I will always love him. He may disappoint me but the love is always there. I need to tell myself the same thing with God.

I’m the same way, I have to remind my kids all the time that my anger or frustration in no way reflects my love. It’s awesome that your boys are willing to express how they feel. I love their pure, brave hearts. I need to be better at that.

I’m about a million years behind on reading blogs so I’m just watching this. But this video touched my heart exactly as I needed today. Thanks for doing this and for your good words!
